Toxic Trade Demonstration

On Wednesday, January 16th, local USW Members along with supporters from in and around the Tuscarawas Valley stood together to increase awareness of the affects of Toxic Trade.
More than a dozen and half supporters stood at the intersection of Bluebell Drive and West High Avenue across from Burger King. We’d like to thank everyone for taking the time to champion this important cause.
Employee Free Choice Act

America’s working people are struggling to make ends meet these days and our middle class is disappearing. The best opportunity working people have to get ahead economically is by uniting to bargain with their employers for better wages and benefits. Recent research has shown that some 60 million U.S. workers would join a union if they could.

Welcome to the USW: Employees at Meteor

Local 2737 would like to welcome our new brothers and sisters at Meteor to the USW!!!
On April 27th, 2007, employees at Meteor overwhelmingly approved the union by almost a 2/3 majority: 89 – 55.
